Gallery: Recreation 60's style
Tucked away in the HAHS archives are a series of scrapbooks containing 1961-65 newspaper items that feature programs sponsored by the Hattiesburg Recreation Department. We created this gallery with selected photos from those scrapbooks to spotlight a few of the many ways that Hub City residents entertained themselves back in the "age of Aquarius."
Enjoy! You may be lucky enough to see yourself or someone you know in one of the scans.
